(Minot, ND) — Minot police have located two children who were taken from a local daycare by their mother, who doesn’t have legal custody. Authorities say Dayrion and Anya Riley were taken Wednesday afternoon, prompting a search for them and their mother, identified as Cyngay Merjil [[ Singay Merrill ]]. Police say both kids are safe, and officers found and arrested Merjil thanks to a tip from the public. She’s being held at the Ward County Jail on multiple charges, including kidnapping and child neglect.
