(Minot, ND) — A celebration in remembrance of North Dakotans who served in the Korean War was held in Minot. The event took place on Monday at the Vet Center, where veterans of the war gathered to reflect on memories of their service in Korea. In addition, attendees celebrated the 93rd birthday of one of their fellow vets. According to the Vet Center, these events are held to show war veterans that they aren’t alone in their thoughts and struggles. Over nine-thousand-four-hundred North Dakotans served in the Korean War.
