(Bismarck, ND) — One North Dakota senator believes Governor Doug Burgum won’t have any problem getting confirmed for a White House cabinet position. Senator Kevin Cramer says he expects Burgum to be “one of the earlier” confirmations by the U.S. Senate. Burgum is President-elect Trump’s pick for Secretary of the Interior and National Energy Council. Kramer says that senators are looking forward to meeting Burgum when he visits the nation’s capital. No confirmation hearings have been scheduled as of yet, according to Kramer.
