Late Season Snow Welcomed By Some Farmers

(Bismarck, ND) — Some North Dakota farmers actually welcome this late-season snowfall. That’s because the majority of the state has been abnormally dry this year. NDSU says the seasonal drought outlook is difficult to predict right now, but the northern part of the state could be dryer than usual this year. Because of this, more snow at the right temperature for soil capture would be beneficial for crops.
