Less Meal Options For Bismarck School Students

(Bismarck, ND) — Students may be seeing less meal options at Bismarck Public Schools this year. According to school officials, a staffing shortage is to blame, as not enough people are available to prepare all the menu items. Nutritional Program Director Michelle Wagner says that job applications for the school meal program have dropped nearly fifty-percent, adding that several people have retired. School officials say they are working hard to fill the open positions.
