(Bismarck, ND) — A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly threatened a local family with a stolen firearm last week at a Bismarck apartment. Police say Carlton Hill faces single counts each of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a stolen weapon for his alleged role in Wednesday’s incident in the three-hundred block of Arbor Avenue. Hill was arrested the following day after he was ID’d by two Bismarck police officers. Department officials say a previous conviction in Morton County three years ago made it illegal for Hill to possess the firearm. Bond was set at 50 grand.
