Man Accused Of Selling Fentanyl Pleads Not Guilty

(Mandan, ND) — A Detroit man accused of selling fentanyl in the Mandan area has pleaded not guilty. Officers with the Metro Area Narcotics Task arrested Alex Rogers last month after they executed a search warrant at an apartment in Mandan. Police say a search of the apartment revealed thousands of dollars in cash and more than 29-hundred fentanyl pills. Rogers allegedly told police he was tasked with selling the drugs in North Dakota and sending the money to higher-up drug dealers back in Detroit. He’s charged with drug possession with intent to deliver, and his trial is set to begin on April 23rd.
