Man Accused Of Threatening Deputy Pleads Not Guilty

(Pembina County, ND) — A man accused of threatening the life of a sheriff’s deputy in Pembina County has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. Police arrested Jason Duerr last December for car theft and resisting arrest. After he was taken to the county jail, he reportedly told a deputy “I’m going to kill you”. He was charged with felony terrorizing, and he pleaded not guilty on Wednesday. Duerr faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
