Man Arrested For Attempted Bank Robbery In Fargo

(Fargo, ND) — A homeless man is in custody after he allegedly tried to rob a bank in Fargo Thursday morning. Authorities say 34-year-old Kashif Grant entered a bank on 40th Avenue South, announced he was robbing the bank, requested a-thousand dollars, and sat down in the lobby without displaying a weapon. Police arrived and arrested Grant for robbery, and he was taken to the Cass County Jail. According to Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski, police responded to a mental health call for this same man two hours before the robbery.
