(Minot, ND) — Minot Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for a deadly shooting that happened back in October. Ian Abrahamson is accused of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and manslaughter for the shooting death of 34-year-old Davin Smith. Police say Abrahamson waited near the home on 7th Street Northwest for police to arrive after the shooting and told officers he shot Smith in self-defense. Abrahamson remains in the Ward County Jail pending his initial court appearance on the charges.
