Man Arrested For Shooting Ex-Wife

(Almont, ND) — Morton County deputies have arrested an Almont man this week who they say shot his ex-wife in the leg with a shotgun. Authorities say Kelly Dittus told them his ex-wife was trying to enter his house without his permission, so he shot her through the door. Dittus is charged with reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, and discharge of a firearm in the city. His ex-wife suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
