(Grand Forks, ND) — A man who’s accused of crashing into a Grand Forks laundromat during a car chase with police faces several charges. It began Tuesday morning, when authorities say Justin Peterson sped away from a traffic stop. Police say Peterson not only crashed into the laundromat, but a power pole as well. He got out and tried to run away on foot, but ended up falling into the Red River. Police reportedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, and Peterson’s preliminary hearing and arraignment are scheduled for April 29th.
