(Minot, ND) — A man convicted of killing a Minot woman is being sentenced to life in prison without parole. Kamauri Kennedy was found guilty in September of the murder of Dominique Kelley. Kelley’s remains were found in a burned vehicle on a gravel road in June of 2021. Kennedy fled the state following her death but was later apprehended in Michigan. On Tuesday, Kennedy maintained his innocence at his sentencing hearing.
