(Bismarck, ND) — A man has been sentenced for a bank robbery in Bismarck. According to authorities, Victor Velazquez entered a bank earlier this year and produced a note saying he had a gun and was robbing the bank. He handed the note to a bank teller, and reportedly left with thousands of dollars. At a recent sentencing hearing, a judge sentenced Velazquez to four years in prison. According to authorities, Velazquez was already on probation for an armed jewelry store robbery in Fargo when he committed the bank robbery in Bismarck.
