Man In Custody After Bismarck Officer-Involved Shooting

(Bismarck, ND) — A man is in custody after an officer-involved shooting in Bismarck. The shooting happened Saturday evening after Burleigh County deputies were involved in a chase that ended near the intersection of Ivy Avenue and South Washington Street. Officers fired on the suspect after he exited the vehicle holding a handgun. The suspect was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He is facing charges of fleeing, reckless endangerment, along with drug and weapons counts and two outstanding warrants.
