(Minot, ND) — The man who was fatally shot by Minot police last Friday morning is being identified. Authorities say Michael Bryant of Washburn was killed when police officers responded to a domestic disturbance call. The department hasn’t named the two officers who were placed on administrative leave or said what led them to open fire. However, it did reveal that dispatchers who received the call heard an argument between a man and a woman and threats of using a firearm. The state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is looking into the officer-involved shooting.
