(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man will not go to trial after beating and raping a woman he followed home from a bar. Edward Harper Jr. was arrested back in December after he followed the woman, broke into her home, attacked and assaulted her. This week Harper pled guilty to seven felony charges as a part of a plea deal, and the case will not go to trial. His sentencing is scheduled for February 24th.
