Man Sentenced For Gun Crimes

(St. Michael, ND) — A St. Michael man will serve 32 years in federal prison for three gun-related crimes. Investigators say 21-year-old Nathaniel Azure pulled a gun during an assault and committed two non-fatal shootings in Fort Totten and St. Michael between January of 2021 and late May of 2022. Azure was found guilty of six federal gun crimes at his trial last December. He’ll be on supervised release for five years after he finishes his prison sentence.
