Man Sentenced for Head-On Crash That Injured Minot Teen

(Minot, ND) — A Minot man is learning his punishment for a head-on crash that left a teen seriously injured. Yesterday, a Ward County judge ordered James Feeley to serve two and a-half years in prison. In September, the 19-year-old pleaded guilty to a felony charge of criminal vehicular injury and two drug infractions. According to court documents, Feeley admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana wax before the January 31st crash on Highway 2. Nineteen-year-old Tyanna Weeks of Minot suffered life-threatening injuries but was able to earn her high school diploma.
