Man Shot By Bismarck Police Found Guilty Of Terrorizing

(Bismarck, ND) — A man who was shot during a confrontation with Bismarck police last year has been found guilty of terrorizing and weapons offenses. Authorities say Daedyn Lewellyn was shot by officers because he reached for a gun in his waistband when they approached him for questioning. Officers say he kept reaching for the weapon even though he was wounded. Lewellyn will be sentenced at a later date.
