(Mandan, ND) — A Mandan man who fired a gun outside a local bar last year will serve two years in prison. It happened in the parking lot of the Stage Stop Saloon and Grill last September, when Kenneth Chapman fired several gunshots into the air before driving away. Officers later located his vehicle, and they found a handgun and three boxes of ammunition when they searched it. Chapman was arrested, and later pleaded guilty to charges of being a previously convicted felon in possession of a weapon, DUI, and driving with a suspended license. He was sentenced on Wednesday.
