Mandan Aims To Change Liquor Licensing

(Mandan, ND) — Mandan city leaders are aiming to create a new liquor license class and make changes to existing ones. The new proposed license class is called ‘Class H’, and would allow catering events to sell alcohol. The City Commission also want to change the already existing ‘Class DY’ to allow breweries and distilleries outside of Mandan to serve liquor at events in the city. The commission is also looking to clear up language that would let applicants apply for more than two liquor licenses. An official vote is scheduled for Tuesday evening.
