Mandan Bennigan’s Settles After ADA Complaint

(Mandan, ND) — The U.S. Attorney’s Office has reached a settlement with a Bennigan’s restaurant in Mandan following an Americans with Disabilities Act violation. The complaint stemmed from an incident in which a disabled veteran was denied entry to the restaurant with his service animal. Bennigan’s has agreed to follow a service animal non-discrimination policy, train its employees on ADA policy, post signs welcoming service animals, and pay a-thousand dollars in damages to the veteran.
