(Mandan, ND) — A Mandan man is in custody after police say he allegedly attacked his girlfriend. Officers say they noticed a woman driving a car along Main Street yelling for help early Tuesday morning, and reportedly saw a man with blood on his hands in the passenger seat. Police say the woman reportedly told them the man, who was identified as Nicholas Sanchez, had hit her in the face and threatened to kill her. He was taken to jail on charges of assault and terrorizing, and a drug charge was added after jail workers allegedly found a small bag of marijuana on him.
