(Mandan, ND) — The City of Mandan is about to place a one-year moratorium on the construction of new self-storage unit buildings. As the city reworks its planning codes, planners have been reviewing zoning and land development ordinances since July. City commissioners agreed to the moratorium, which takes effect on February 15th. They hope the pause will help them decide where the self-storage centers will fit in the city.
