Michael Coachman Running For North Dakota Governor

(Bismarck, ND) — Former statewide candidate Michael Coachman has announced an independent campaign for North Dakota governor. His run for governor comes after Governor Burgum announced he won’t be seeking a third term. Coachman is most well-known for his unsuccessful effort to recall Burgum and then-Lieutenant Governor Brent Sanford back in 2021. He also unsuccessfully ran for state offices in the past, including governor in 2020, secretary of state in 2018, and lieutenant governor in 2016 and 2012.
