(Minot, ND) — Minot city leaders are looking at ways to make building entrances more accessible. The topic came up at Monday night’s city council meeting, and an ordinance presented to the council proposes that public buildings install and have automatic doors in their main entrances. This requirement would apply to entities that have received five-thousand dollars or more in public funds. The proposal is modeled after an ordinance now on the books in Mandan. The council said they need more details before they vote on the issue.
