Minot Home Damaged In Fire

(Minot, ND) — Firefighters extinguished Sunday afternoon a house fire in Minot. Fire crews were called to First Avenue Southwest, where they found a fire that had spread a backyard deck to the home. Three adults and two children were able escape the home uninjured, and the fire was quickly extinguished. Fire officials say a smoldering log started the blaze. The family living at the residence is currently being assisted by the Red Cross.
