(Minot, ND) — A Minot man charged with murder in the death of 57-year-old Albert Granger has pleaded not guilty. Authorities say Granger was found unconscious with life-threatening injuries at a Minot hotel last February, and he later died at a hospital. Thirty-four-year-old Casey Vollmer was arrested and charged in Granger’s death. A trial date for Vollmer hasn’t been set yet, and he remains in custody at the Ward County Jail. He has a pretrial conference scheduled for April 17th.
