(Minot, ND) — Prosecutors in Minot say the suspect in Sunday’s downtown shooting has a history with guns and violence. Laquint Sarvis made his first appearance in court on Monday. So far, he’s charged with just one count of reckless endangerment, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Prosecutors, however, say more charges may be coming. The charges in Minot are not Sarvis’ first. He was charged with attempted murder in South Carolina back in 2022, but he managed to plea those charges down.
