Minot Streets Open Again After Building Inspection

(Minot, ND) — Sections of Main Street South and Central Avenue East in downtown Minot are open again now that the city’s initial inspection of the Artspace Lofts apartment complex has wrapped up. The inspection concluded that the building isn’t in imminent danger of collapsing. Cracks were found in the building on Monday, which prompted the city to relocate all tenants to a local hotel, and later block off the surrounding streets. Residents won’t be allowed back in until the final inspection report is completed, which the city says should be before the end of the week.
