(Minot, ND) — A Minot woman is trying to bring attention to the human trafficking crisis. Hannah Hamilton organized Saturday’s “Walk for Freedom” in Minot. The walk is a national program and Hamilton brought it to North Dakota three-years-ago. Hamilton wants people to know that human trafficking isn’t something that happens only “in a third-world country,” but happens in all 50 states — including North Dakota. In addition to the walk, Hamilton arranged for speakers from non-profits aimed at stopping human trafficking.
