(Pembina, ND) — Motor Coach Industries announced Thursday that their assembly plant in Pembina will continue operating. The news comes after the bus manufacturer said last year that the facility would close before 2025. However, officials from parent company MFI Group cited more demand for their vehicles, including electric coaches, as a major factor for their decision to keep the plant open. Both Governor Burgum and Senator Hoeven expressed that they’re pleased with NFI’s decision to stay in Pembina.
