(Foster County, ND) — Charges filed in the death of 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson in McHenry last year are now reduced. Yesterday, the Class AA Felony Murder charge against 42-year-old Shannon Brandt of Glenfield was reduced to Class B Felony Manslaughter. Brandt called 911 after the incident saying he ran over Ellingson because he felt threatened. His trial begins on May 30th.
