(Minot, ND) — Minot has a new tool to help fight opioid overdoses. A box that offers free Narcan was installed at Northern Testing courtesy of the Providence Foundation of North Dakota. The box is part of Mya’s Mission, a program the foundation created to help those seeking treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders. It’s named after Mya Schiele who died from fentanyl poisoning in 2022. The foundation hopes to get more Narcan boxes installed around the Magic City.
