(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is rolling out its All Kids Bike program. Its aim is to teach every kindergartener in the state how to ride a bike during P.E. class. The program is funded by a one and a-half million-dollar state grant and private donors. Governor Burgum hopped on a bike at an elementary school in Bismarck yesterday and told students that North Dakota is the first state in the nation where every school building is going to have the All Kids Bike riding opportunity.
