ND Children and Family Services Director Charged With Stalking

(Fargo, ND) — The director of North Dakota Children and Family Services is being charged with stalking. Cory Pedersen is accused of stalking an ex-girlfriend who claims Pedersen tried to contact her 125 times during a ten-week period. According to court documents, Pedersen worked closely with the woman on work-related matters and served on the same homeowner’s association. The victim was granted a domestic violence protection order on October 7th, but Pedersen was arrested for violating the order a day later. Pedersen has held his state post since 2019.
