ND Governor Doug Burgum Signs Major Tax Cut Plan

(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Burgum has signed a major tax cut plan. The Republican governor signed the bill yesterday after both legislative chambers overwhelmingly passed the measure. The 515-million dollar package includes income tax reductions putting North Dakota’s highest rate at two-point-nine percent. Income tax will be completely eliminated for individuals making less than about 45-thousand dollars. The measure also includes property tax credits for homeowners.
