ND Highway Patrol Superintendent Solberg Retiring

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Highway Patrol Superintendent Colonel Brandon Solberg will retire from law enforcement later this year. He will step down on November 30th to begin a new role as director of the Facility Management Division. Solberg first joined the North Dakota Highway Patrol in 1999, and became chief of staff in 2014. Governor Doug Burgum thanked him for his “unwavering commitment to public safety” on Friday, and Solberg called his time leading the Highway Patrol “an incredible honor”.
