(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota leaders are celebrating a judge’s injunction against the Biden Administration’s Waters of the U.S. Rule. North Dakota’s congressional delegation, Department of Agriculture officials, and Governor Doug Burgum called the ruling a win for the state’s biggest industries of agriculture and energy. They responded to the injunction yesterday saying WOTUS won’t improve the protection of clean water but would create more red tape for landowners. North Dakota was one of two dozen states that are part of a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers over WOTUS.
