(Minot, ND) — The North Dakota Native Tourism Alliance is putting in effort to bring more visitors to the state. Native Tourism Alliance Vice President Les Thomas says they’ve partnered with state, regional, and international organizations to help achieve this goal. He says they’re working to bring more tourists to sites like the Heritage Center in Bismarck and the International Peace Garden near Dunseith. Thomas adds that the state’s Native American cultures also need to be promoted as part of the plan, and says the efforts will promote economic development.
