ND Natural Gas Production Hits Record Levels

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s natural gas production has set a monthly record. Production of natural gas in the state increased by one-percent in July, which makes for a total of 101-point-nine-eight billion cubic feet produced throughout the month. The president of State Mineral Resources confirmed the new record on Thursday, explaining that the amount of natural gas captured this month is unprecedented in North Dakota history. State energy officials are calling this level of gas capture “truly impressive”.
