(Bismarck, ND) — A record number of North Dakotans got home safely over this past holiday season thanks to a state initiative. Data collected through ND Sober Ride show more than 280 people used the program between December 19th through January 2nd. That’s a 76-percent increase compared to the same time period in 2022. The rides were sponsored by the Triple-A to prevent impaired driving. The program was also part of the Vision Zero strategy to eliminate deadly car crashes throughout the state.
