ND Tourists Stuck In Israel Now In Jordan

(Bismarck, ND) — A group of tourists from North Dakota who were stuck in Bethlehem as the Israel-Hamas war broke out are now in Jordan. Father Phil Ackerman of Holy Cross Catholic Church says the group spent seven hours at the Jordan border, which closed within a few hours of their crossing. Senator John Hoeven released a statement saying he has been working with the State Department to try to get the group on a flight out of the region. Hoeven has spoken with Father Ackerman to help coordinate the group’s route home.
