(Fargo, ND) — The Bison are number one for the third-straight week, while the Fighting Hawks just barely hang on in this week’s FCS Top 25. North Dakota fell eight spots to number 23 after suffering its second-straight loss and third in its last four games. The Fighting Hawks are at home this Saturday against third-ranked South Dakota State. North Dakota State again received 24 of 26 votes in the poll to stay ahead of second-ranked Montana State, the only unbeaten team in the Top 25. The Bison are idle this week before hosting Missouri State on the 16th.
