(Frisco, TX) — The North Dakota State football team is hoping for a replay of this time three years ago. The second-seeded Bison face top-seeded Montana State tonight in the FCS national championship game at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Tonight’s contest is a rematch of the 2021 championship, which the Bison won handily 38-to-10. Tonight’s game also features both starting quarterbacks from three years ago — the Bison’s Cam Miller and the Bobcats’ Tommy Mellott, although Mellott left the game after the opening drive due to an ankle injury. A win tonight over the undefeated Bobcats would give NDSU its tenth FCS national championship. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. and airs live on ESPN.
