(Medora, ND) — Plans for new attractions are currently in the works in Medora. The growing tourist town will be the site of the Roosevelt Presidential Library, which will open in 2026 and is expected to bring in a new era of tourism. As more people are expected to visit Medora in the coming years, ideas for additional attractions are being pitched. Planned projects include a year-round 80-bed hotel, a cabin resort, and a rodeo arena. Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation president Randy Hatzenbuhler expects the new library and attractions to make Medora known to a much larger public in the future.
