New COVID Variant Confirmed In Six States Including; North and South Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) — A new variant of COVID-19 has been detected in several western states. Cases of the EU-11 strain have been confirmed in North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and Montana. It is still not known whether there will be different symptoms that emerge in the United States cases of the new strain. It’s believed EU-11 could more transmissible and at this time the cases of the strain account for eight-point-seven-percent of COVID cases in North Dakota and the other five states named.
