(Dickinson, ND) — Authorities in Dickinson say they seized a record amount of fentanyl last year. Dickinson Police are releasing their 2023 crime statistics, and say the Southwest Narcotics Task Force seized over 35-thousand doses of fentanyl last year. That’s more than double the amount seized in 2022. The new stats also show that simple assault cases in Dickinson rose 32 percent last year and aggravated assault rose slightly, but there were no murders.
