(Bismarck, ND) — Hospitals in North Dakota have teamed up to create a support group for brain injury and stroke survivors. The group came together as a result of collaboration between nurses from CHI St. Alexius and Sanford Health. The purpose of the group is to create a safe space for people living with these conditions to discuss their experiences, feelings, and stories with other survivors. The group meets at the Bismarck Veteran’s Memorial Public Library once a month.
